Kulturhaus . Old cinema building with a stage at 3 Krawiecka St., 300 seats. It serves as a meeting place for the speeches of the head of the Council of Elders, as a concert hall, and as a revue stage.
The House of Culture, headed by Kiwa Siennicki, was an independent institution (department) of the ghetto, employing professional musicians and actors. One, sometimes two symphonies and light music concerts with superb soloists were given. The professional orchestra played until the first days of the szpera in September 1942. Several months later, revues of various ghetto factories were presented at the House of Culture.
Ultimately, the House of Culture was dissolved in August 1943 in order to place there the Quilted Duvet Department, relocated from Dąbrówka1 to the ghetto. Since then, only one speech has been given there, namely that by Biebow, head of administration, to managers and delegates on December 7, 1943.
