From November 1939 until the relocation to Abbe's Factory, a K.Z. (Concentration Camp) operated on the brickyard’s premises, where many Jews were imprisoned (vide Radegast-Radogoszcz). Officially, it was not labeled as a K.Z., but as a detention camp, or later an assembly camp. Guarded by the constabulary Schupo. The fact that the brickyard had not been restructured made living conditions extremely difficult for the detainees. Liquidated on January 2, 1940.
